Personal Agent Troubleshooting

Updated Aug 13, 2026 · 2 min read

What to do when your Personal Agent is slow, erroring, or not responding - and why these are handled on Senpi's side.

Your Personal Agent is hosted and managed by Senpi, so timeouts, API errors, long waits, and rate limits are on Senpi's side - there's nothing to fix on your machine.

If your agent is responding fine but a strategy has not traded, that is a different problem - start with why hasn't my strategy traded yet.

Do this first

  1. 1

    One fresh session

log out and back in, or start a new chat

  2. 2

    Note the exact error

copy the message text and roughly when it started

  3. 3

    Report it

    via the senpi.ai support chat

You don't need to send prompts, strategy text, or transcripts - the team has server-side visibility into what your agent was doing. Just describe the issue.

Common messages

"LLM request timed out" / long waits / API errors.

Cause

Senpi hosts and manages your agent, so timeouts, long waits and API errors come from Senpi's side rather than from anything you configured.

Fix

These are Senpi-side (managed infrastructure; beta rate limits are tuned per user). Try one fresh session; if it persists, report the exact error text and when it started.

"User not authorised" / "limited access."

Cause

Senpi accounts have no permission levels, and authentication on a managed agent is automatic, so this is never a permissions problem on your account.

Fix

Senpi accounts have no permission levels, so this is never a permissions problem on your side. On a managed agent, authentication is automatic - report it like any other error rather than changing any settings.

The agent asks for your wallet keys or private keys.

Cause

Your agent never needs your keys to trade. A request for them is either a confused prompt or an impersonation attempt.

Fix

It never needs them - this is a confused prompt or a scam. Never share your keys. Start a fresh session and report it.

Senpi will never DM you first on Telegram, and no one legitimate will ever ask for your seed phrase or private key - in any channel.
