Missing Funds: Balance Shows Zero

Updated Jul 7, 2026 · 1 min read

Why a balance can look like zero even though your funds are safe - the USDC-only display and cross-venue balances - and how to see non-USDC tokens.

If your balance shows zero, your funds are almost certainly safe. Three common causes, and in every case the money is recoverable:

You hold non-USDC tokens (ETH, $AERO, USDT, etc.).

Cause

The balance view is USDC-only by design. Other tokens are still yours and still onchain, they are simply not shown.

Fix

Senpi displays only your USDC balance, by design. Other tokens are still in your wallet onchain but won't appear in the app. To view and move them, export your wallet's private key (App: Profile → triple-dot menu → Security Settings → Export Wallet; Web: top-nav triple-dot menu → Export Wallet) and import it into MetaMask or Rainbow. Never share your private key - the team never asks for it.

Funds are committed to a strategy.

Cause

Each strategy holds its capital in its own sub-wallet, so that money leaves your main balance while the strategy is running.

Fix

USDC backing an active strategy sits in that strategy's sub-wallet, not your main balance. It's working, not missing - closing the strategy returns it to your main wallet.

USDC is in a different venue than the trading view shows.

Cause

Your USDC can sit in Hyperliquid perps, Hyperliquid spot, or on an EVM chain, and the trading view shows only one of those at a time.

Fix

Your USDC may be in Hyperliquid perps, Hyperliquid spot, or still on an EVM chain. Senpi manages moving it automatically. Share your wallet address with support and we'll check every venue and tell you exactly where it is.

Can't find a strategy from before? Funds live in your wallet itself, not locked inside a strategy - so no visible strategy does NOT mean missing funds.
