Fees, Loyalty Tiers, and Referrals

Senpi charges a builder fee per trade on top of Hyperliquid's exchange fee (~4 bps). The round-trip total (open + close) is about ~18 bps (0.18%) of notional. At 10x leverage, that is ~1.8% of margin. There is no subscription fee.

Funding rates (hourly, standard Hyperliquid) apply to open positions and are separate from trading fees.

Three ways to lower your fees

1. 01Use the @senpi-ai/runtime (article 20). Runtime 1.1.0 defaults to maker-first execution on entries and exits (FEE_OPTIMIZED_LIMIT, falling back to taker only when needed). This is roughly 3x cheaper per trade than always-taker. See article 8 for details.
2. 02Climb loyalty tiers by trading more volume. The discount applies to the builder fee, up to 50% off at Legend. Live thresholds are exposed via the MCP get_loyalty_tiers tool - see the table below.
3. 03Refer others. You earn 25% of referred users' trading fees for life. Your referral link is in the Rewards section of the app.

Loyalty tiers

Volume is measured over a 30-day rolling window; each tier needs 10% of its threshold as maintenance volume to retain status. For your current tier, call user_get_senpi_points.
